Suttons Bay Parks Welcome to Suttons Bay Parks. Cruise through this site and explore the various parks in our community.Some parks are maintained by the township, some by the Village and some are co-managed. This site also includes Suttons Bay School facilities and Peshabestown (Strongheart Center) facilities. Permission is needed to use the facilities at these two sites. Herman Community Park is the focus of creating an active recreation facility this side of the Leelanau Peninsula. Currently featuring soccer fields and an 18 hole disc golf course, fund raising and planning for tennis courts is underway. We completed a major event on Jan. 10, "LIFTOFF 2013- Launching Your Best Year". A truly emotional and uplifting event. Read about the event and the "Pearls of Wisdom" shared by honored attendees .
